Duties of King (or whatever)
I run this webpage. I also try to answer others' questions and occasionally help out in market or spells.

Ranks:
I am also in charge of titles, which means I can give you a title if there is an unused rank, or if you requested an existing title.
The rank of Knight is given to those who have just joined, those who have been inactive for at least two weeks without prior notice, those who do not care for a fancy title, or those who wanted one but there were no more ranks open for retitling.
Ranks are unimportant in the game. You get the same morale bonus if you lead a clan or are at the bottom rung. Also, the only advantage a higher-rank player has is the ability to promote or demote players lower than him/her. Since I do all the placing, this advantage is meaningless.
Everyone in this clan will be treated as an equal, expect newbies whom we ought to help.

Obligations: You are under no obligations in this clan. You are a free agent. However, it would be nice if you cast some beneficial spells on other members from time to time, put some resources on the market for newbies (wood and blocks), and so on. These are not requirements, just favors. If you help, you will be helped.

Recruiting:
Recruiting may be done by any member, as long as you know the current password. This is how I expect it done: First, find a player not belonging to a clan, who's currently online. Look for a score between 1395 and 10000. Any higher and he probably turned down clan offers already. Use "Invitation" as the kmail message title, and say something like "Wanna join the **** clan? We offer great newbie help, resources, and beneficial spells." You might also consider giving a cheap spell as incentive, like Pot of Gold or Dragon Stone. Let them contact you back, and give the password ONLY if they say they want to join.
